Hope everyone is prepared for the holiday hustle, it officially begins now!

A one-liner preach for today: support your local businesses this holiday season! The West Queen West strip has tonnes of awesome places to find cool gifts. More room to breathe than the mall and less corporate craze. Here's a list of some of our faves; F as in Frank (ha!)... but seriously, we have some pretty awesome gifts including  inexpensive jewellery, snapbacks, tails, unique pieces from our Van-made Snap line.. lots of great gifts in multiple price ranges.  And don't forget about our vast collection of Ugly Xmas Sweaters for your parties. CTS & USED - two other vintage stores on the block where you can find something unique . Outer Layer - hilarious cards, lots of trinkets, stationary sets, housewares, etc. Perfect place for the "quirky" person on your list, or for that joke gift for your Secret Santa. Proper Reserve - more cool gear, especially for the gents. Mosheta Salon - gift certs for beauty treatments (they do great nails!) will never go unappreciated. Good for men too!!!!! Paraffin treatments are a hilarious experience, waxing, etc. Jacob and Sebastian - premium bath & body boutique with great choices for the dudes as well as the ladies! Fancy luxury and good stocking stuffers! Magic Pony - more cool trinkets, books, collectible toys. Good for the fan off offbeat art. Dutil. - premium denim! A high price range gift for someone suuuuper special. Tip for jeans purchases: if you don't know your gift-receivers size, stealthily measure their fave pair of pants with a tape measure. Lay the garment flat and measure across the waistband and from the crotch to cuff, write it down. This actually works for most garment shopping and is also a good way to determine if a vintage piece will fit! Remember to consider when measuring skirts or dresses to check if there is a stretch waistband. Happy Holiday shopping! Take your time and don't stress! It should be an enjoyable experience to find thoughtful gifts for your loved ones. xox
