The Himelbros X F as in Frank collaboration jacket:

F as in Frank discovered bolts of original Polo Country Fireball wool blanket material woven in a mill in Italy and approached us to build blanket/leather jackets in some of our most sought after 30s inspired patterns.  Blanket jackets are a North American tradition stretching back to 1807 when the British Military at Fort St. Joseph commissioned the first ones made from trade blankets to clothe troops marching in the dead of winter to repel the American invaders. By the turn of the century American woollen mills were churning out blankets with distinct references to indigenous patterns of the south west and in turn sewing them into warm Mackinaw style coats.  Himel bros started combining vintage blankets and our pasterns in 2012 and this latest collaboration was the inspiration of the Heifetz brothers and their discovery of these old stock rare 1990s 30's inspired blanket.

The Wolverine Grizzly Jacket

An original design imagined by Himel in 2010.  There were very few actual 1930s fur on leather jackets so Himelbros designed one of the first in an Imaginary design on an A-1 style Cossack jacket.  While replicated since by many this is the one and only original version with the vintage blanket replacing the fur panels.  The Chocolate Shinki Horsehide is accented by Reece gimped key hole buttons.  Deadstock 1930s buttons adorn the cuffs and the liner is an Sage green Brisbane Moss British Corduroy. The tuck in pockets reference the very unique styles of Canadian 1930s sport jackets and the main zip is a rare Japanese replica of the earliest American Grommet zippers of the 1930s.
